De palawantwijgtimalia (Malacopteron palawanense) is een zangvogel uit de familie Pellorneidae.
Verspreiding en leefgebied
De palawantwijgtimalia is endemisch op het eiland Palawan in het westen van de Filipijnen.
Status
De grootte van de populatie is niet gekwantificeerd maar de soort wordt omschreven als schaars. Door habitatverlies gaat de populatie in aantal achteruit. Op de Rode lijst van de IUCN heeft deze soort daarom de status gevoelig.[1]
