Campeonato Cearense 2004
In 2004 werd het 90ste Campeonato Cearense gespeeld voor voetbalclubs uit de Braziliaanse staat Ceará. De competitie werd georganiseerd door de FCF en werd gespeeld van 18 januari tot 17 april.
Zowel Fortaleza als Ceará wonnen een toernooi waardoor er op 19 en 21 april een finale gespeeld zou worden. Fortaleza protesteerde hier echter tegen omdat er dan te veel wedstrijden op korte tijd gespeeld werden en dit uitputtend was voor de spelers. Ceará ging hier niet mee akkoord en toog naar de rechtbank om de titel te claimen, maar kreeg hier ongelijk. Ze gingen in hoger beroep, waar ze echter opnieuw ongelijk kregen. Fortaleza kreeg daarop de titel toegewezen zonder hiervoor te spelen.
