Paratalanta cultralis is een vlinder van de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Botys cultralis door Otto Staudinger in een publicatie uit 1867. De spanwijdte van de ondersoort amurensis bedraagt 31,5 tot 37,5 millimeter.[1]
Verspreiding
De soort komt voor in Dagestan[2], Siberië (Oblast Amoer)[1], Aziatisch Turkije[2], Georgië[2], Armenië[2], Iran[2], China (Hebei, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang)[1] en Japan[2][1].
