Iolaus lukabas is een vlinder uit de familie van de Lycaenidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Hamilton Herbert Druce in een publicatie uit 1890.^[1]

De soort komt voor in de bossen van Gambia, Sierra Leone, Ivoorkust, Ghana, Zuid-Nigeria en Kameroen.
