Walter Biddle Saul (Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), 19 april 1954) is een Amerikaans componist en muziekpedagoog.
Levensloop
Saul was in 1968 en 1969 BMI Student Composer Award winner en studeerde onder andere aan de bekende Eastman School of Music in Rochester (New York), waar hij in 1979 zijn Master of Music behaalde en in 1980 tot Doctor of Musical Art promoveerde. Aansluitend was hij adjunct professor voor compositie aan de Universiteit van Portland in Portland (Oregon). Later werd hij professor en hoofd van de muziek afdeling van het Warner Pacific College in Portland (Oregon).
Als componist schrijft hij voor verschillende genres.
