Thacona ioptila is een vlinder van de familie Scranciidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Turnacoides ioptila door Pierre Viette in een publicatie uit 1955.

De soort komt voor op Madagaskar.
