Spinosuncus brevacutus is een vlinder van de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Kai Chen, Dan-Dan Zhang en Hou-Hun Li in een publicatie uit 2018.[1] De spanwijdte van deze vlinder bedraagt 19 tot 24 millimeter.[1]
De soort komt voor in China (Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou).[1]
