In april 2008 ging Live Nation een partnerschap aan met Jay-Z en werd Roc Nation opgericht. Roc Nation behelst het platenlabel Star Roc en het entertainment bedrijf Takeover Roc Nation, gevestigd in Groot-Brittannië.
