Paratalanta stachialis is een vlinder van de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Sergius Toll en Roman Józef Wojtusiak in een publicatie uit 1957. De spanwijdte van de vlinder varieert van 32,5 tot 41,5 millimeter.[1]
De soort komt voor in China (Gansu, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Jilin, Shanxi, Shaanxi).[1]
De vliegperiode is van half augustus tot en met begin september.[1]
