Microeciella plana is een mosdiertjessoort uit de familie van de Oncousoeciidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is, als Eurystrotos planus, voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2007 door Florence, Hayward en Gibbons.[2]
