Loxostege mucosalis is een vlinder van de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Botys mucosalis door Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in een publicatie uit 1848.
De soort komt voor in Kroatië, Noord-Macedonië, Bulgarije, Griekenland, Europees Rusland, Turkije, Iran en Kirgizië.[1]
