John Frederick Dickerson (Washington D.C., 6 juli 1968)[1] is een Amerikaanse journalist en verslaggever voor CBS News.
Zijn huidige (2025) functie is om samen met Maurice DuBois sinds 27 januari 2025 het CBS Evening News te presenteren.[2] Zijn eerdere rollen omvatten 60 Minutes en de verkiezingsspecials van CBS News.[3] Meest recent was hij co-host van CBS This Morning samen met Norah O'Donnell en Gayle King.[4] en presenteerde hij "The Daily Report with John Dickerson" op CBS News 24/7. Hij diende als interim-presentator van het CBS Evening News totdat Norah O'Donnell het in de zomer van 2019 overnam. Eerder was hij presentator van Face the Nation, politiek directeur van CBS News, hoofdcorrespondent Washington voor CBS News en politiek columnist voor Slate magazine. Voordat hij bij Slate ging werken, schreef Dickerson 12 jaar lang over politiek bij Time Magazine, waarvan de laatste vier jaar als correspondent voor het Witte Huis. Daarnaast is hij invaller en presentator voor CBS Mornings, CBS Evening News en Face the Nation.
