Gargetta acarodes is een vlinder uit de familie Scranciidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Alfred Jefferis Turner in een publicatie uit 1903.[1] De spanwijdte van deze vlinder bedraagt 28 tot 30 millimeter.[1]
De soort komt voor in Australië[2]
