Don't Mess with Doctor Dream is een nummer van de Britse synthpopband Thompson Twins uit 1985. Het is de tweede single van hun vijfde studioalbum Here's to Future Days.

"Don't Mess with Doctor Dream" is een anti-drugsnummer dat waarschuwt voor de gevaren van drugs. Het personage "Doctor Dream" is in de tekst een metafoor voor drugs. De plaat werd een bescheiden hit in een aantal Europese landen. Zo bereikte het een 15e positie in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. In de Nederlandse Top 40 bereikte het nummer de 27e positie, en in de Vlaamse Radio 2 Top 30 kwam het tot een 21e positie.
