Digitivalva occidentella is een vlinder uit de familie van de parelmotten (Glyphipterigidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld als Acrolepia occidentella door Josef Wilhelm Klimesch in een publicatie uit 1956. De soort komt in Frankrijk, Portugal, Spanje, Italië, daar op het vasteland en op Sardinië, Kroatië, Roemenië en Turkije voor. De rups leeft als mineerder op donderkruid.[1]
