Schorssteeltje (Chaenotheca) is een geslacht van schimmels uit de schorssteeltjesfamilie (Coniocybaceae). De structuren voor seksuele voortplanting zijn een massa losse ascosporen die worden omsloten door een komvormig excipel dat bovenop een kleine steel zit en eruitziet als een naald (mazaedium genoemd).
