Bagous cylindricollis is een kever uit de familie van de snuitkevers (Curculionidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van deze soort is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Alphonse Hustache in een publicatie uit 1923.^[2]

De soort is voor het eerst ontdekt in Moyen-Chari in Tsjaad.
